Hi,

You cannot telnet to the outside interface of the ASA in clear text.

You have couple of choices:

Telnet through IPSEC

SSH

HTTP over SSL (https) with ASDM

ASA7.0 Allowing Telnet Access:

The security appliance allows Telnet connections to the security

appliance for management purposes. You cannot use Telnet to the

lowest security interface unless you use Telnet inside an IPSec

tunnel.
