speed setting on WS-2960G

hi there

can someone please help with the syntax to configure port speed on a

WSC-2960G-24TC-L switch running IOS Software C2960LANBASE version 12.2<25>

Im sure it is or i thought it was

interface g0/21

config-if<#> speed 1000

but this doesnt work. Can we not set speed to ports 21-23??

These ports do nothing but 1000 Mbps/full duplex and hence you cannot set them manually. You can alter speed settings only on 10/100/1000 ports
