Hi Mauricio,

This cable can certainly be used for the Antennas you listed. You may have to design some sort of Mounting apparatus as both of these Antennas are designed to be mounted directly on the 1520. Other than that you should be good to go.

Hope this helps!

Rob, thanks for your response. I have the following doubt

The Antenna AIR-ANT2480V-N connects directly to the 1520,

this means the antenna has a male N connector and the AP has

a N female connector.

Likewise, the antenna AIR-ANT5180V-N (N-MALE) connects directly to the

1520 (N-Female).

My doubt is thinking about the AIR-ANT5117S-N, this antenna needs

a cable to connect to the 1520, and there are only 2 cable options

This antenna has a N-FEMALE connector so my guess is that these cables

have a N-MALE - N-MALE connector.

AIR-CAB005LL-N

5-ft low loss cable, one straight N connector, one 90-degree N connector

AIR-CAB010LL-N

10-ft low loss cable, one straight N connector, one 90-degree N connector

So I'm still not quite sure this is possible.

Please let me know what you think.

Regards.

Hi Mauricio,

You are correct :) The first two Antenna models that you referenced would work with that cable. The new one "AIR-ANT5117S-N" would not as these cable are Male to Female.

If you have a look at the "suggested Cables" for the AIR-ANT5117S-N you will see that there are none listed which probably indicates that custom made cable is required (Male to Male).

Hope this helps!
