Disconnecting from AnyConnect - Blue Screen of Death

Answered Question
Sep 25th, 2008

Hi folks.

I have an ASA 5520 running 8.0.4, configured with a fairly basic SSL VPN config, and users running AnyConnect 2.2.0128 on XP SP2 boxes. I'm using CSD 3.3.0118. Nothing -too- fancy, but I'm getting reports from at least two users that when they Disconnect from the VPN session they're getting a full-on Blue Screen of Death, with reboot.

I've had this happen myself, but I thought it was fixed. Yes, I know I'm a revision or two behind on AnyConnect and CSD, but the Open Caveats didn't have any obvious bugs that would explain the BSOD.

Anyone out there having the same experience?

Neil,

It looks like that problem was resolved in version 2.2.136. Here are the release notes for

AnyConnect 2.2.
