command to show details including int description

I used to know a command that would display alot of information about the interfaces on teh switch. It was similar to "sho int des" but it had more fields in it than just the description. It was like a combination of "sh ip int brie" and "sho int des".

I cannot remember this command and have looked thru the context on the switch but to no avail.

Hopefully one of you will know exactly what I am referencing here.

Are you looking for "show interface status" on IOS switches and "show port status" on CATOS.

this is in reference to IOS vs. CatOS. I tried your command "sho int status" but that is not the command I was referencing.

The command I was referencing showed the description, and then several other columns of data with respect to each interface in each row.

I had referenced this command from training somewhere, but cannot at this point remember what it was. I was using it last summer.

I think the command is four words in length.

Was it show interfaces summary? It would help if you remember what fields you saw

Unfortunantly it was not "sho int summ" either. To try to be more descriptive, I can tell you that it was very similar in nature to "sho ip int brief", but it also had the ports descriptions on it. That being said, it was not "sho int des", as it had one more column of data within it.
