failover from active to standby call server(cvp) taking long time.

Hi all

We have 2 vxml gateways pointing to 2 vxml servers.The servers are in active and standby as configured on vxml gw.When vxml1 is taken out of the network it takes 9 to 10 sec for the new calls to get connected to vxml server 2.This is the case with welcome prompts (micro-apps) as well as the application prompts.Is there any ways by which we can reduce this time.Also attached is the configs on the vxml gw1.

Your dial peers are a bit strange. You have

"session protocol sipv2"

but why don't you say

"session target sip-server"?

I'm not saying it won't work without that statement, but I always use it.

You could also turn down the sip-ua on other retries:

retry response 2

retry bye 2

retry cancel 2
