Hi everybody,
is it possible to have a layer 3 Etherchannel up and running if I use FastEthernet on one side and GigabitEthernet on the other side?

I never did that. But why would you use 100mbit and 1000mbit together in etherchannel? Why not rather use 100mbit on the other switch too?
In any case, link would be 100mbit.
Or you can use uplink ports - they are usually 1000mbit.
Which switches are you talking about?

I have a Cisco 3825 router on one side and a Catalyst 3750G-24TS on the other side. The GigabitEthernet on board interfaces on 3825 are busy so I have to use FastEthernet on NM-2FE2W_V2.

Well, altough I never did eth.channel between 100 and 1000 I believe it would work.
In "worst case" you would need to set speed to 100 manually on 3750 switch.
Interface ge0/x - speed 100
And thats it.
Try, and report ;-)
