Replacing existing Firewall

Dear all,

We currently have a m0n0wall security device which we are thinking about replacing (this is a FreeBSD based device).

This device is used to provide authentication to of our wireless networks, via the use of RADIUS and a captive portal (RADIUS requests are forwarded to another server, they are not actually handled by the m0n0wall).

What I wnated to know is whether there is a Cisco product that would provide both RADIUS forwarding functionality, as well as captive portal featrues ?

I was orinially looking at the ASA range, but I thinking that WLC's may be the way to go ?

Any info. would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Simon,

The WLC only works with access points using the LWAPP - which just happen to be Cisco AP's.

If you want to carry on using your curren AP platform, then the ASA could perform adiquately what you need.
