My rsm module on Cat 5500 has gone into boot mode. There is nothing in slot0: and when I try to copy fron tftp into slot0: it gives the error message "File Table Overflow" and when I try and copy it into the booflash it says not enough space... I did notice that my new IOS image size is much bigger than the total space on bootflash (including used)..Currently the bootflash has an image in it but I dont know why its in boot mode. I changed the config reg value to 2102 and restarted but it stuck in boot mode..Can some explain to me whats going on and how can I recover from this?

rsm-FQDN(boot)#dir bootflash:
Directory of bootflash:/
1 -rw- 3960504 Jan 01 2000 00:44:40 c5rsm-boot-mz.120-10.W5.18a.bin
7602176 bytes total (3641544 bytes free)
rsm-FQDN(boot)#dir slot0:
%Error opening slot0:/ (No device available)
rsm-FQDN(boot)#show bootvar
BOOT variable = c5rsm-boot-mz.120-10.W5.18a.bin,1;
CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist
BOOTLDR variable does not exist
Configuration register is 0x2102

I figured it out.. Someone had removed the PCIMCA card from slot0: thats why it was booting off of the boot helper image in boot flash!! Once the put the card back it..it worked fine...
