Windows to Appliance restore

folks

i'm having problems restoring a backup from a windows box (4.1) to an appliance (4.1)

the restore appears to start but hangs for up to 2 hours (the dbase is only 500k)

1. any idea how i can troubleshoot this

on the acs

2. anyone had similar problems which

they resolved

Generally there shouldn't be any issues is doing that. Please make sure that there is no issue with FTP. Try taking a back up from appliance and see if that works. Check if any firewall installed on the FTP server.

If still issue is there then power cycle appliance and try again.

many thanks for your post

the issue was a configuration error

the upgrade url/page simply sat but when i tried a new http to the admin page i got an invalid admin session error so i checked google and found it was a checkbox to allow/disallow web access
