Sensor 1040 doesn't register

Hi,

we have a CUOM an a CUSM in a subnetwork. We have connected a sensor 1040 in the same subnetwork and it has registered perfectly.

But we have connected another sensor in other subnetwork and it cannot register. The status is always "waiting". We have checked that there is communication between the CUSM, the CM (where the TFTP server is) and the switch where sensor is connected to.

It's configured NAT in the router between both subnetworks, ¿is there any problem with this?

Can anyone help me, please?

Thank yu very much.

Hi,

This can help you resolving your issue. Please follow step by step procedure while installing sensor 1040.

What about your span configuration in the switch? is it ok? What's the port status you connected the sensor?

Hi,

finally it was a problem with the IP configured for the NAT.

We also configured a command needed for the switch to recognize the sensor MAC address and its IP assigned by DHCP.

The commmand was:

arp ARPA
