hi every body!
1)i just want to know when a layer 2 switch receives a frame on port, how does it determine in which ingress queue the frame be placed?
is it decided by qos in frame?

Not all platforms support input scheduling but if your switch does, your understanding is correct. It depends on
1)QoS markings on the incoming packet
2)The queue selected depends on cos/dscp to ingress Q map
