CUCM 6.1 on HP DL380 G3

I am trying to install CUCM 6.1 on a DL380G3. I have the exact hardware as mentioned on the following link, but the setup wizard still tells me the hardware is incorrect and setup cannot continue. I am using a SmartArray controller, dont see that on the list but it came with the server part number so I assume it is ok.

Hi,

You need the dl380 server above 2 GHZ speed to install the CUCM 6.x

It is a Xeon 3.06 Server is HP Part number 310587-001

I had a similar issue cos I had 2 CPUs not 1.... make sure you have exactly what is listed, nothing more, nothing less...

maybe post all your server details, piece by piece

Yes, follow carefully what is listed under the G3 model in the cert hardware list page for CUCM and put that parts in. Otherwise it will stop and complain.

Better material doesn't count, amount is important.
