Hello Saied,
C12000 is a totally distributed architecture so the real performance, and also the supported features, are dependent on the line cards you use.
The platform has a non-blocking switching matrix that allows communication between the different linecards.
First generation chassis were able to support 2,5 Gbps full duplex per slot.
C124xx and C128xx are more powerful and offer 10 Gbps full duplex per slot.
Linecards use ASICs to forward frames.
The main CPU has to build the CEF tables and to send them to each linecard. (dCEF = distributed CEF)
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Dear Giuseppe
Thanks for your response.
but I need to know the forwarding rate of these series device (or only C128xx) in PACKET per SECOND, not in Gbps.
I search in cisco but I can't find any comment about it.
Thanks

Hello Saied,
look for the forwarding rate in pps of the engines of your linecards a data for the whole chassis is not meaningful as I tried to explain in my first post.
It looks like the docs for GSR are not easily available in CCO.
Hope to help
