SIP and CME

I want to use linksys ata i.e. pap2t that do support sip protocol. i wonder if it works will integrate with cisco cme. Actuallay iam having problem in ordering ATA as cisco have withhold ATA deliveries. Iam looking for cisco ATA alternatives.

i have tested cisco ata with analog phone and cisco cme. Will Linksys ATA PAP2T work in same manner.

SIP is SIP. As long as the SIP invites and messages are the same, it should work in theory. Might be worth trying. For example, if you have a third Party SIP phone, can you register it with CME? (download a softphone to your laptop and see if it works) If it does, there is a good chance the pap2t will work.
