How does it work?,

do i need some external machine for the records?

Hello Alberto,

For recording, you need a recorder. Silent monitoring does not require an external machine. Here is a Monitoring and Recording chapter in the Feature and Services Guide that describes the feature in detail, and gives examples of supported external recorders:
