LMS 2.6:Can we create a user who could access only to campus application

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to create a user which when he connects to LMS, can access only to campus application ?

You can do this with ACS integration. However, this cannot be done with LMS authorization.

With ACS integration, you can create a user which only has access to perform Campus Manager tasks. While they will see links for other applications, they will get an access denied error trying to access them.

With LMS 3.x, do you think that we can modify the LMS portal for a specific user, that means a LMS portal with only campus manager ?

Absolutely. You can create a Public portal which all users can see. This portal can only include Campus Manager if you want. That said, each user will still have access to their own Private portal. They can add other portlets there. There is a pending enhancement to the portal which will lock users into the Public portal, but that will not happen until LMS 3.2.
