How easy it is to go from multimode to a single mode?

You assumption is correct.Keep a copy of " sh tech " command which would include running config. from all the contexts.

Run this in system context.

Hi Sushil,

What would be the impact if any? I am assuming here that i am going to loose my configuration.

From memory when you switch from multiple mode to single mode does it not copy the admin context into the running config for single mode is this only on FWSM ?

Jon

Yes,

only the admin context config is saved,Not the rest of the contexts if they have been created. The better approach is to keep a " sh tech " so that you have " sh run " of all the contexts.Atleast, that's what we do in TAC. :)
