IPCCX Upgrade - CAD Agent Re-install?

Question: When you upgrade IPCCX from 4X to 5X, will agents need to re-install CAD agent/supervisor software or will their system automagically update CAD to the latest version as it did when upgrading within the 4X train?

I have this problem too.

CAD Has a feature for automatic updates, so as far as I know it will download the latest and greatest version on its own!

Auto-upgrade is limited to maintenance release and ES updates. Minor or major version updates require an uninstall of the previous version and install of the new version.

"To upgrade CAD from an earlier version, you must first remove the old version of CAD and then install CAD 6.4."

After upgrade, try to run postinstall.exe file on CAD workstation.
