Hi,

We have UC520 CME/CUE with SIP and SCCP phones. Alsco voicemail is configured.

Firstly all my codecs were alaw (and VM didn't work for SIP phones) but then we found that CUE supports only ulaw and the problem was solved - but then customer's demand was to work only with alaw.

We were looking for transcoding guides and all we found were more less sth like this:

the problem is that we have:

sccp local Loopback0

and we don't know what to put under mac-address in

associate profile 1 register mtpXXXXXXXXXXXX.

We tried to put the mac-address of In0/0 (which has the IP address of Lo0) but that didn't help.

with sh sdspfarm units i get:

mtp-1 Device:MTP001E7A428161 TCP socket:[-1] UNREGISTERED

Do u have any ideas how to resolve that?

or some other ideas how to solve this issue?
