is there a difference between 7912 and 7940 TFTP get?

I have a remote location connected back to the main site via a VPN tunnel.

At the remote location we have 5 phones. 3 7940 and 2 7912.THis has been the setup for some time now and all has worked.

The other day I reconfigured one of the 7912 and rebooted it. It did not come back up.

Now these phones get their IP from the router onsite. I issued a sh dhcp binding and seen the router gave out an ip and it has a lease for that phone.

On the phone, it shows configuring IP.

I decided to reboot the other 7912 and the same thing happened. I went onsite with yet another 7912 and it will not sync up.

But all the 7940's will reboot and sync fine.

I enabled debugs for tftp on the call manager (4.1) and I do not see those phones connecting to it. I do see the 7940's though

From the switch all these phones are connected too, I cannot ping those 7912

Any ideas?

This may be an issue on the switch where the phones are connected.
