NAT exclusion of address in the midst of a nat pool

Is it possible to exclude an ip address in the midst of nat pool?

Reason, such as that ip is being used by static nat.

1.With static NAT, translations exist in the NAT translation table as soon as you configure static NAT command(s), and they remain in the translation table until you delete the static NAT command(s)

2.If dynamic translation request comes, router sees if there already entry for that translation, so here , even if you don't exclude the static NAT IP from pool , it will not get allocated for any other translation, as it will be already occupied.

3.I have not tried this ,..but you can see

4.Unfortunately there is no option of route map to define pool

5.Alternative is instead of creating pool, why don't you use PAT on existing static IP Address

6.Other option would be use overloading on interface...

Thanks. I have tried that, even if there is a static nat, the router still proceed to allocate that inside global address using dynamic nat, if that falls inside that pool range.

If anyone can shed light on this would be gt!
