FTP upload issue

hi i have 2mb of DXX link connecting my site to site routers. The only traffic on the link is FTP, FTP is not working properly, i have 40 -60 kbps upload and 80-90kbps download speed. Any recommendation to improve upload speed.

you may adjust the TCP window-size of the hosts involved.

Hi,

what is the distance between sites?

I had similar problem on a line between Europe and India.

The long distance caused FTP acknowledgement very slow.

I used an FTP client running several prallel sessions to speed-up the file transfer.

Hi,

have you tested somehow you are really getting 2 Mbps on your line from your ISP?

hi,

we are getting 2Mb that's why i am getting 230KBps. The only problem is of uploading.
