What exactly does JTAPI do? what is the relation between JTAPI,CTI ports & CTI route points ?

JTAPI is the protocol that we use to communicate with external applications

The Java Telephony API is an extensible API that offers an interface to all call control services. Here is high level overview of our interaction in CUCM


CUCM (CCM service - SDL - CTI service - JTAPI - External application)
