CME FXO to Centrex long distance code problem

Unanswered Question
Oct 5th, 2008

I have a UC520/CME connected to a Centrex switch. With the previous PBX and with a but-set if you dial a long distance number, 9-1-234-564-7890, the Centrex swtich sends back a "tone" that indicates the user needs to then enter an access code. User enters the access code and the call is completed.

Problem: With the UC520 connected, the user is not hearing the "tone" and is not able to enter the access code, therefore long distance calls fail.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I have this problem too.

The dial-peers were matching as the calls would get the PBX, but just wouldn't complete a long distance call due to no access.

Strangely enough the problem seems to have resolved itself.

Thanks for the reply.
