No, there shouldn't be any issues if you disable that account, providing it's not running any of your services (which it shouldn't be according to the documentation). When you need to use it again for administration purposes, just re-enable it in AD.

If you are worried about disabling it all together, I have seen many a customer just take off the domain admin permissions from the account and leave it active. It's really your choice.
