Hi, we are using DMS (Digital Media Systems) Video Portal here and are trying to set it up where when a users clicks a link to watch a on-demand video, it redirects them to a local ACNS box with the content pre-positioned.
Here's how we have it setup:
I have prepositioned all of the video files. I have setup WCCP to redirect http requests to the origin server to a local ACNS box.
What's weird is when I go to the URL to a on-demand video, I get redirected and see a hit on the ACNS. When I go through the Video Portal and click on the link, it being the same URL patch as above, it does not show a hit on the ACNS.
I have no idea of what else to try.

Bryan,
First, double check the URLs that are being requested with a sniffer. The VP might be giving you a RTSP redirect which would not be redirected to the ACNS box via wccp setup for HTTP unless you set up services 80 and 83 on the router and WAE.
If one request is http and the other is RTSP and both are using WCCP, the stats might be in "sh stat wmt requests" instead of "sh stat http requests".
Let me know if that helps,
Dan

Hi all,
How are the step to I configure WMT and watch preload video on WAE?
Could someone help me configure this feature?
