Slave DFM Numbers Of Switches and Routers Much less Than Master DCR

Unanswered Question

On one of our LMS deployments, our master DCR when looking at it from our LMS server has 299 switches and routers and our slave DFM Device Summary has only 231 switches and routers.

I am trying to understand why the difference in numbers .. 299 vs 231.

Auto Import is defined on all devices on the DFM server to Synchronize with Device Credentials Respository.

How Do I validate that DCR synchronization is owrking ?

Is there any filtering that takes place on device import that say eliminates from device import any devices with say has bad SNMP credentials ?

I have this problem too.

If this is a LMS 3.0.1, and the master is integrated with ACS, then only devices with are authorized via ACS are sent to slave servers. This bug is fixed in LMS 3.1. Beyond that, there are no filters.

You can test to make sure integration is still working, by adding a new device to the master, and checking to see that is is propagated properly to the slave. The Common Services homepage is a good way to get authoritative device counts.
