documentation on Software upgrade process for NME WAE

I have been trying to find documentation on how to upgrade a NME WAE I am setting up a new environment and have the Central manager and Core WAE upgraded to 4.1 by using the recovery disk. the network modules I have are currently running 4.0. I would like to upgrade them using the software recovery process, but I cannot find this process for the WAE

You cannot use a recovery CD on the NME. You can either upgrade the NME from the CLI using the "copy ftp install" command with the .bin file or you can use a 4.0 CM GUI to upgrade the device.

I would recommend you use "copy ftp install" that is documented here...

If I use the ftp install command to install the bin file do I have to wory about the sysimage file?

Nope. Just use the BIN file.
