ASAre-booting at random

I have an ASA 5540,the device was found to reboot almost 5 times within an hour.

I have attached the screen dump of the error generated from the device.

Can someone please help me out.

Please collect " sh crash " info. and paste it here.

I believe that what he attached to his post was the crashinfo.

Here is advice that was contained in the file that you posted:

An internal error occurred. Specifically, a programming assertion was

violated. Copy the error message exactly as it appears, and get the

output of the show version command and the contents of the configuration

file. Then call your technical support representative.

So you should prepare to open a case on this incident. I would guess that the solution may be to upgrade to a different version.
