After a recent Chassis change on our dear 7507 router (using RSP-16), we observed that following command started failing for slavecs7:

ITP#cs7 save route-table disk0:/route_20080905.txt

Route-table 'system' saved to 'disk0:/route_20080905.txt'

Copying 'disk0:/route_20080905.txt' to secondary processor

Error: Copy of cs7:route-tables/system to slavecs7:route-tables/system failed.

Issue stays even if i do an IOS upgrade.

What I need?

Ans: A procedure to correct this behavior.

I might have to format slavedisk0:, but will a 'format slavedisk0:' get me the original filesystem back and working. Right now the filesystem looks like the one i have attached.

If a format is what I need, then... what all files do i need to replenish on this new slavedisk0: to make it working.

can i move these files from disk0: to slavedisk0: or should i backup the one present on slavedisk0:

I am using SSO mode of redundancy on this device.
