SNMP port status for C3560

Hello:

Currently we have several 3500XL switches which contain the C2900PortStatus MIB. These switches are monitored by a modified Tivoli netview program which obtains one of 10 possible state values for each port of each switch via snmp polls from netview. When implementing the C3560 (L2/L3) as an L2 into this suite, it seems that the only port status obtainable via snmp OIDs is an up down or testing status via an ifAdminStatus MIB. Is there any mib resident in the 3560 that will give me the port status for the 3560 that is similar to the more inclusive C2900PortStatus mib.

Thank you for any help/suggestions (kind of new at this stuff),

Tom M.

The c2900PortStatus object lists the STP states. This same information is available in the dot1dStpPortState from the BRIDGE-MIB. That is a standard MIB, so it is supported by all switching platforms.
