ASA 5550 -Type help or '?' for a list of available commands

I couldn't able login in to firewall.It is continuously throwing message DMZ-SP-HYD> Type help or '?' for a list of available commands ,Even it is not allowing to login on privilege mode. Have any one experienced such problem ? if yes.. Please let me how to resolve

you mean..when you type enable from ">" mode , and put your enable passwd it fails ?
