Overheating a PIX 501

I understand the maximum normal operating temperature of a PIX 501 is something like 40 deg C. We need to use some in environments where the temperature may on odd occasions reach 50 deg. Will the PIX 501 still work at that temperature, will it take some action to protect itself such as shut down, or will it be damaged?

Thanks for any advice.

PIX-501 is operational with these conditions:

Temperature: 32 to 104F (0 to 40C)

Relative humidity: 10 to 90 percent, noncondensing

Altitude: 0 to 6500 feet (2000 m)

Shock: 250 G, < 2 ms

Vibration: 0.41 Grms2 (3-500 Hz) random input

the above values are ideal condition values, you may go 10+/-, so you are safe

Many thanks. Sorry it took so long to reply - been away.
