AP not joining controller

I have a wlc 2106 controller with 5 aironet 1510 APs connected and am having a slight problem with one of the APs. It is not able to join the controller and the log shows this output;

Oct 08 11:27:49.112: [ERROR] spam_lrad.c 1668: spamProcessJoinRequest : spamDecodeJoinReq failed for AP 00:0b:85:88:6e:70

Oct 08 11:27:49.111: [ERROR] spam_crypto.c 1543: Unable to free public key for AP 00:0B:85:88:6E:70

Oct 08 11:27:49.111: [ERROR] spam_lrad.c 5295: LWAPP Join-Request Bridge Authentication Failed for AP 00:0b:85:88:6e:70

Oct 08 11:27:49.111: [ERROR] spam_lrad.c 4747: LWAPP Join-Request AUTH_STRING_PAYLOAD contains an invalid KeyID 00:0b:85:88:6e:70

How do I resolve this? I can't reset the AP to factory defaults as suggested because it doesn't show up on the controller. Recent changes was and upgrade to 4.1 on the controller. Also the IP for the controller is 192.168.30.41 and the AP is 192.168.27.25.

Thanks in advance

have you check the MAC address for that AP is present in the MAC filter table.

Also it may be worth removing the bridge group name of the rap.

If that doesn't fix it, I would factory default the controller and reconfigure it, I have this in the past after upgrading to 4.1.

The mac address is in the filter table.

No bridge group name is being used.

I will try resetting to factory default and reconfiguring. Will let you know how that goes. Thanks for the assistance so far.
