Is there a way to find out the serial number on the standby unit of a PIX 515e failover pair? If I do a "show ver" on the active PIX I can see that serial number but I cannot see the one of the standby unit.
You should be able to log on to the Standby Pix directly using the Standby IP Address and then do a "show version" and get the serial number of the standby Pix.
I dont believe you can login to the standby pix....correct me if I'm wrong but I have tried before and have never been successfull, I could use a console cable but the device is remote.
