VPN Connection trouble

Hi,

I am using CISCO VPN client version 5.0.00.0340 provided by my company. My company is located in Taiwan. I was able to use the VPN client to connect back to our lab and access the intranet such as file server from my house while I was in Taiwan. However when I relocated to the US, the problem occurred that although the client showed successful connection, I couldn't access to any intranet system. For example, I "can not find" the file server either through web browser or ping.

I have been trying to solve this with my IT in Taiwan. But my colleagues in Taiwan or even in Europe can gain access no problem.

Is it possible that it is my DSL provider's issue in the US? I am using AT&T DSL (residential). How can I solve this problem?

Thanks!

Cedric

Most probably the provider is blocking the VPN traffic, Try encapsulating your VPN inside UDP or TCP. This needs to configured by the Taiwan team. Its called NAT-T or IPSEC over TCP just for your reference.
