Hi all,
I have a 2811 voice gateway with VIC2-4FXS/DID cards on it. The question is "Could I use these cards to connect to PBX (an old Panasonic PBX), and how to do it?"
Thanks,

Yes you can connect these ports with your FXO port at PBX. And you can make 4 calls maximum from gateway to PBX or vice-versa.

Yes I can.
What I mean is: should I use the ports as normal FXS or DIDs?

you can use FXS port as DID functionality. Use 'singnal did wink-start' in your FXS port configuration.

One more thing, You cannot place calls out a DID trunk, they can only receive inbound
calls. If you want to make a call outbound, you must have an FXO card
connected with. And, put the command 'incoming called number .' in the pots dial-peer to accept the calls for treatment. Configuration like:
At port
voice-port x/y/z
signal did wink-start {if your PBX using this}
At Dial-Peer
dial-peer voice 150 pots
incoming called-number .
port x/y/z
Hope this will work.
