Solved: connectiong to the nearest AP

Dear Friends,

I am presently deploying in a Campus Network of 2 WiSM's and 280 AP's .

I find some laptops are not taking the signal from the nearest accesspoint. How can we make sure , notebook needs to take to the nearest AP.

This is an on going question. One thing you can do is disable aggrassive load balancing if you have that enabled. The other is updating client driver's. Client devices are really the on the chooses which ap it will try to associate to.
