Solved: How to remove extra node license in CM5.1(3)

Does anyone know how to remove extra node license in CM5.1(3)?

The CM 5.1(3) cluster have three nodes of server. I had installed node license have five.

In case the cluster need to be upgrade to 6.1 version. Can user purchase three node license in 6.X version?

If it is not works, how can I remove the extra node license in CM5.1(3) before start the upgrade task to 6.X?

Hi Michael,

You should be fine here :) The Node License only verifies how many Nodes "can" be up and running not how many "must" be up and running. When the upgrade to 6.x or 7.x is ordered the License can be adjusted then to reflect the actual number of Nodes that you require.
