Hi
We have about 10-15 standalone 1231G scattered in one story building. They are all plugged into one switch and hands out the same subnet. The previous eng did not map out the wireless network so was wondering how I will visio out this network. I can visually see each AP but is there a way to pinpoint each AP in terms of which clients are associated to it without telneting to each AP and trying to figure out if my client is associated to it?

Nope... you either have to telnet or gui to the ap and see if your mac address is on the association table. I guess if you are good with scripts, you can make a script to telnet and scrub the output for a certain mac address.

No easy way to go around this, but you can telnet in to each of the AP (one-by-one) and type in
led flash <1-3600> (number of seconds to flash)
This way you can identify which AP is which.
