Help with boot process on the 1841 router

Hi! May be, it is not the theme to discuss here exactly, but... I have a problem.

Some remote admin made something with the 1841 router, as I know, he issued a "confreg 0x2107" statement in the rommom monitor mode by mistake.

Now connecting via console port with hiperterminal, I can see a lots of unreadable symbols. What may I do now to force it back to the rommon mode?

Please try to change the speed of the hyperterminal, maybe he changed the speed and as a result you see un readable characters.

In order to access the ROM, when the router reboot and we it decompress the IOS image issue break button or break with esc.

Oh! Really it was so! I mean the baudrate. The flash is empty, but it's another story.
