Secondary credentials fail in CS

Hi everyone,

I have a question on a credential issue we encountered at a customer site during implementation of CWLMS 3.0.

Customer applied 2 sets credentials for initial discovery. As expected some of the devices were found but failed on the first credentials. But the secondary set seems not be tested if primary fails.

Is this corect behavior or are we interpreted default credentials wrong?

Secondary credentials do not apply to Discovery. If you need to add multiple SNMP credentials for Discovery, you must do that within the Discovery settings.

Hi,

It's not about snmp credentials. It's about username/password/enable credentials. When first set (PRIMARY) fails, it should try the secondary.

So you're talking about RME, then? If so, you must tell RME to use secondary credentials under RME > Admin > System Preferences > RME Secondary Credentials.
