Microsoft SCCM on Unity?

A customer wants to install the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager client component on their Cisco Unity 5.0. They understand that they are not to use this to push OS updates to Unity. They want to use it strictly for change management - mainly to make sure no one installs unauthorized applications onto Unity. Anyone know if TAC will support their server with this application running?

Cisco TAC will let you have software installed until they reach a point that they can no longer troubleshoot an issue and then ask you to uninstall it.

I would test it in the lab before you install it if you want to.

If it is not on the list then Cisco has not tested it. They can not test every software and that is really the main reason.

Hope this helps you make a decision.
