Solved: How to Discover in LMS 2.6 Remote branches connected with GRE tunnel

Hi All,

I am running LMS 2.6 Can somebody advise me how to discover remote branches connecting with GRE Tunnel & running OSPF between them.

You need to have a seed device in each remote branch because CDP is gobbled by GRE.

But I am not able to discover even the branch router which are connected to my WAN edge MPLS router even I have given this router as seed device.

Do you mean even without discovering the remote branch router I need to specify them as seed devices ?

Hi,

Many thanks for ur guidance. As you told once given the remote branch routers are seed device it discovered them. I discovered the DMZ switches also by putting them as seed devices as they were not CDP neighbour to any of the seed devices.
