Friends,
I do have a strange experience to share with . A site which was deployed with 2 WiSM's and 280 nos of 1250 AP's ,
I notice that wireless -g card enabled notebooks are slower than the N-card notebooks.
Has anyone experienced this? It seems to me that power is not getting compromised while 1250 AP's detects G-clients.
Please advise.
Regards,
SID

Sorry for not understanding, but wouldn't you expect the g-cards to go slower than the n-cards? Data rates for 802.11n can be anywhere up to 10x what date rates are seen with 802.11g.
Please let me know what I'm missing. I'm sure I didn't understand something right.
