Re-naming LMS WIndows host

Will renaming the LMS host cause any problems with LMS? I'm not sure if anything is dependent on that name other than the URL to get to CW.

Yes. LMS will be completely broken if you change the server's hostname. If you are running LMS 3.0 or higher, you will need to run the NMSROOT/bin/hostnamechange.pl script to update LMS for the new hostname. In LMS 2.6, you will need to perform quite a few steps manually:

Thanks much Jclarke. Glad I asked, only reason I did was remembering WCS licensing being dependent on the host name...
