Hello everybody,

I have an ASA 5510 and want to get your of expert advice on how to allow remote access using Microsoft VPN connection using PPTP.

Below is the Access-list I added to my ASA:

access-list Cedarhurst extended permit ip host 10.223.14.92 host 96.57.10.226

access-list Cedarhurst extended permit tcp host 10.223.14.92 eq pptp host 96.57.10.226

After adding this access control entry the windows XP client using Microsoft VPN client still cannot connect to a Microsoft SBS VPN server.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If your PPTP server is inside behind asa you will need to allow GRE protocol 47 in your acl.

have a look here
