CP7921G-MFG-A.7 will not register/upgrade

HI,

Can anyone tell me what this 7921 SW is/does?

CP7921G-MFG-A.7

I've seen issue's with CME but in my case the phones are just not registering/upgrading to anything ???

Have you tried under telephony-service the command "no create cnf-file" and after recreate it with "create cnf-file"?

CME/IOS doesn't support sub-directories for tftp-server commands, had to add "alias" statements to all the phone loads, so that it looked like:

tftp-server flash:phones/XXX.loads alias XXX.loads

After doing this the phones could pull down the firmware and register fine.

Hi,

I made a mistale with the usernames in ASC :-) the issue had nothinh to do with CME of the software version CP7921G-MFG-A.7.

However still i don't know what this SW verion is/does.
