MGCP E1 back-to-back configuration

Hi guys,

i'm trying to configure an E1 link to simulate an operator. So I built an E1 cross cable, plug the to edge in the 2 ports of me VWIC2-MFT-T1-E1.The level 1 is ok (green LED), but I got the message BAD FRAME() on the console.Of course the card type is set to E1,the network-clock participate also and the switch type is NET5.

On the MGCP configuration I got the both E1 well registered, one is Network side with clock internal and one is user side with clock external. I've also set the Protocol type to PRI QSIG E1, but still have the BAD FRAME () error message.

The error message even appears without any call, just in ter mon !!

Do you know if it is possible to make such a conf? Do I need to do it in H323 ?

Thanks

Rgds

Luc

On one router, you need:

isdn protocol-emulate network.

Actually, I didn't know that you also need to write it even in MGCP, I beleived CCM can do it by itself when you set NETWORK side under MGCP conf.
